Hampton Inn Part Time Laundry

The Sunray Companies, a growing company, has a wonderful opportunity available for a flexible, honest, friendly, high-energy, hard-working, guest-focused individual that has a knack for attention to detail. Our Hampton Inn team is looking to add a new member to our laundry department and has flexibility including weekends and nights since our hotel is open 24/7. Prior laundry experience is preferred but not needed. Our hotel laundry staff perform a wide range of essential tasks, helping to ensure the smooth clean operations that result in happy customers. Our core Value is to Enhance the lives of each other.In addition to general housekeeping tasks the laundry duties in a hotel will include:clean corridors, lobbies, stairways, and elevators as well as guest roomsorganize work schedule from the room status list, arrivals and departuresdistribute linen, towels and room supplies using wheeled carts or by handrestock room supplies such as drinking glasses, soaps, shampoos, writing suppliesreplace dirty linens with clean itemsinspect and turn mattresses regularlystore all dirty laundry in line with company policyKnowledge and Experiencehigh school diploma or equivalent preferredknowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methodsknowledge of cleaning sensitive materialsworking knowledge of operating cleaning equipmentphysical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel and bendability to lift, push and pull required load (usually about 30lbs)Salary negotiable based on experienceBenefits Include: Health insurancePaid vacationsMonthly bonus401k with a MatchEducation Required: High School DiplomaHousekeeping Experience preferred At The Sunray Companies our mission is to empower, support, train and develop our people to enhance the lives of our guests and each other!!
