Job Title: Marketing Associate / VideographerReports To: Marketing ManagerDepartment: MarketingFull-time hourly positionStarting rate $20.50/hourOverview:The Walters Gardens Marketing Department supports company growth by promoting the plants and products we produce. The team is responsible for photography and video capture, website content updates, social media engagement, and the creation and distribution of promotional materials such as fliers and catalogs. Marketing team members collaborate to support these initiatives and contribute to projects as needed.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Take an active role in creating and editing video content for use on social media and internal company useCapture images and video of events, key plant varieties, display gardens, and facilitiesOrganize, manage, and distribute digital assets for internal use and the websiteCoordinate off-site photography and video locations, including scouting and content collectionAssist with other marketing department tasks as they ariseTeam Responsibilities:Contribute to a respectful and collaborative culture which promotes team successParticipate in team meetings and planning sessionsComplete other duties as assigned, including supporting other marketing team members and projects or other departmentsRequirementsQualifications:Degree in Marketing, Communication, Horticulture or related fieldProficiency in Microsoft OfficeExperience with video editing softwareExperience with common social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTubeDemonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlinesAbility to work independently with strong time management skillsSalary Description Starting $20.50/hr
