This role requires a unique balance of strategic senior leadership and hands-on execution. The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking leader who is passionate about cultivating a culture of continuous learning and aligning development initiatives with business goals. We need a training professional who understands the importance of driving exceptional, high touch service with our clients and our dining population. A "hospitality mentality" is a must! **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and execute a comprehensive learning and development (L&D) strategy aligned with company goals, with a particular focus client & guest engagement, guest service, and client retention. - Collaborate with internal team members and third-party vendors to co-create, refine, and implement high-quality training materials and learning programs. - Lead the design and delivery of leadership development, onboarding, compliance training, skills development, and performance improvement initiatives. - Act as both a strategic partner to executive leadership and a hands-on contributor in training development and deployment. - Identify organizational learning needs through assessments, employee feedback, and performance data. - Oversee the implementation and management of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other digital learning tools. - Partner with senior leaders, operational business partners, and department heads to ensure alignment of learning initiatives with business needs. - Measure training effectiveness and business impact through data-driven analysis and KPIs. Stay informed on trends and innovations in L&D and recommend relevant solutions. - Manage L&D budget, vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with all training requirements. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field - 8+ years of experience in learning and development, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role - Food & Beverage, Hotel, Hospitality industry training experience strongly preferred. - Experience working directly with third-party learning vendors or consultants. - Proven ability to operate effectively at both strategic and tactical levels. - Strong background in instructional design, adult learning theory, and blended learning approaches. - Proficiency in learning technologies, including LMS platforms and e-learning tools. - Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills. - Proficiency in using e-Learning software & LMS services such as Articulate, Moodle, or similar technologies. - High level proficiency in using MS Office suite & web-based conference services such as WebEx, Teams, and similar technologies. - Proven ability to lead others towards a timely completion of projects with both urgent and long term deadlines. - Proven ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously, while working with multiple levels of key stakeholders. - Professional certifications (e.g., CPLP, SHRM-SCP, ATD) are a plus. **Apply to Canteen today!** _Canteen is a member of Compass Group USA_ **Click here to Learn More about the Compass Story (**Compass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
