About SanTan GardensSanTan Gardens is the premier outdoor event space for SanTan Brewing & Spirits. We host everything from live tribute bands and "Brunch Bingo" to festivals and private tours. We are looking for a reliable, observant, and friendly Door Host to join our team and help ensure every guest has a safe and seamless experience from the moment they walk in.The RoleYour primary mission is to be the "Face of the Garden." You aren't just security; you are the first person our guests interact with. You'll be responsible for managing the entry flow and ensuring our safety standards are met.Key Responsibilities: Check-In Expert: Efficiently check in guests using the Eventbrite Organizer app on a company-provided tablet or smartphone. Gatekeeping: Verify IDs for 21+ compliance and monitor the entry to ensure only ticketed guests or authorized personnel enter. Crowd Safety: Maintain a presence at the door and within the venue to monitor guest behavior, discourage over-consumption, and de-escalate any potential issues with a "customer-first" mindset. Guest Service: Answer basic questions about the venue, restrooms, and event schedule. Closing Duties: Assist with clear-out at the end of the night to ensure guests exit safely.Schedule & HoursThis is a flexible, part-time position perfect for someone looking for supplemental income: Fridays & Saturdays: 5:30 PM - 10:00 PM (Shift times may vary slightly based on the concert schedule). Sundays: Occasional afternoon shifts (e.g., 1pm - 8:00 PM)What We're Looking For Tech Savvy: Comfortable using apps (Eventbrite) and tablets under pressure. Professionalism: You can be firm when enforcing rules but remain polite and welcoming. Reliability: Since our events depend on a smooth entry, punctuality is non-negotiable. Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for the duration of a 4-5 hour shift, occasionally in outdoor weather. Prior Experience: Previous experience in security, hospitality, or event staffing is a plus!
