This position is hands‑on, fast‑paced, and offers opportunities to learn new skills while contributing to the production of high‑quality fire protection materials. **Experience Level** Entry **Primary Responsibilities and Duties** + Assist skilled craft workers with setup, preparation, and daily tasks + Follow instructions from experienced team members and supervisors to support shop operations + Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area + Read and understand equipment instructions, safety rules, and warning signage + Learn to observe equipment and systems to identify potential hazards + Always prioritize safety in every task **Qualifications** + High school diploma or equivalent preferred + Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions + Strong communication skills with supervisors and team members + Ability to safely and efficiently use hand tools, power tools, and layout tools + Willingness to learn and take direction **Requirements** + Ability to meet all physical requirements, including lifting and repetitive motion + Ability to work in an indoor/outdoor fabrication environment in all weather conditions + Willingness to work overtime as needed + Commitment to following all safety policies and performing additional duties as assigned Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability and protected veteran status.
