This isn't just about moving dates in a system; it's about orchestrating a high-velocity production environment where complex multilevel BOMs and tight constraints are the norm. You will lead a dedicated team of Buyer-Planners to translate customer demand into a flawless Master Production Schedule (MPS), ensuring we deliver excellence while maintaining lean inventory levels.If this piques your interest, please read on!Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Orchestration: Develop and maintain the MPS, balancing sales forecasts and order backlogs against real-world internal supply and capacity constraints.Team Leadership: Provide direct mentorship and daily supervision to a team of Buyer-Planners, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.Cross-Functional Diplomacy: Collaborate daily with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Logistics to resolve bottlenecks and ensure total alignment on production goals.Capacity & Risk Management: Proactively identify capacity risks and drive solutions before they impact the customer.Execution & Flow: Oversee the release of work orders via MRP and Kanban signals; drive the timely closure of orders and resolve inventory discrepancies with the warehouse team.NPI Integration: Serve as a key stakeholder in New Product Introductions, ensuring material readiness and capacity for next-generation systems.Qualifications5+ years of of high-level planning experience within a complex manufacturing environment.Certifications in Supply Chain Management are a plus. (APICS, CSCP, CPIM, ASCM, etc)Proven ability to manage complex, multi-level Bills of Materials and thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy setting.Advanced MS Excel skills are non-negotiable.
