Job Title: Assembly Technician Job Description Join our dynamic assembly team where you will work in one of two key areas: the Components Table or the Crossarms Table. At the Components Table, you will be responsible for assembling components (similar to nuts and bolts) and boxing them to meet required quantities. This role involves repetitive tasks, often performed independently. At the Crossarms Table, you will work with a team to attach components to utility arms, such as brackets, braces, and copper wire. These completed arms are then palletized for distribution. Your role is crucial in ensuring our products meet quality standards before reaching our clients. Responsibilities Assemble components at the Components Table and box them to required quantities. Work independently at the Components Table, performing repetitive tasks with precision. Collaborate with a team of three at the Crossarms Table to attach components to utility arms. Ensure completed utility arms are properly palletized for distribution. Essential Skills Experience in assembly and production environments. General labor skills with an understanding of warehouse operations. Comfortable working on an assembly line. Additional Skills & Qualifications Recent warehouse experience is required. 1-2 months of experience preferred. Manufacturing experience is beneficial. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in an industrial manufacturing environment where we produce pole line equipment for PG&E and other utility companies. The shift starts at 3 pm and includes a 30-minute lunch break. Be prepared for potential overtime as needed. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pittsburg, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
