Travel MICU RN (Nights)

Position Title: Travel RN - Medical ICU (MICU), Nights We are seeking an experienced Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) Registered Nurse to join our high-acuity, 16-bed adult critical care unit. This role requires advanced clinical judgment, strong interdisciplinary collaboration, and a commitment to delivering safe, compassionate, and high-quality care. Assignment Details Projected Start Date: March 30, 2026 Projected End Date: June 14, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Shift Hours: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Float Requirement: Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals Scheduling: Every other weekend; holidays as required The Medical Intensive Care Unit is a 16-bed, high-acuity environment providing complex monitoring and treatment for critically ill adult patients. Nurses in this unit demonstrate advanced clinical competency and work collaboratively with all members of the care team to support optimal patient outcomes. Our team is committed to ensuring a safe, secure, and supportive environment for patients and their families. Minimum Qualifications Education Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required. Certifications - Required AHA ACLS AHA BLS AHA NIH Stroke Scale or equivalent Red Cross certifications Certifications - Preferred PALS (required only if assigned to a pediatric unit) Licensure Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Alabama or a compact state license Temporary licenses are not accepted. NURSYS verification required. Experience Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience. Candidates with 18 months of experience may be considered if practicing under the highest level of licensure and possessing at least 1 year of recent experience in MICU or a comparable specialty.
