Details Interventional Radiology unit within a hospital OR setting 2 endovascular suites and open procedure ORs Average of 20 patients per day with a 2:1 RT:RN ratio Common procedures include abdominal aortograms with runoff, fistulagrams, carotid angios, and EVARs Equipment used includes fluoroscopy, C-arm, CT, Philips Epiq 7G ultrasound, and Parks Flo-Lab 2100SX Charting in Epic/CareConnect (PenVasc reporting software also in use) 5x8 day shifts, 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM Every other holiday required Call expectation includes approximately 1/4 of total call rotation, including weekends Requirements Minimum 2 years of VIR experience required; candidates with 1+ year may be considered if they have Level I or Level II trauma experience HS diploma or GED required; must be a graduate of an accredited radiography program ARRT (or equivalent) certification required Ohio Department of Health Radiologic License required (pending status accepted; typically obtained within 24–48 hours) BLS certification required Proficiency with fluoroscopy, C-arm, CT, and ultrasound equipment Experience scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating for minimally invasive image-guided vascular procedures License required if applicable Additional Information Serves as assistant to the Interventional Radiologist for minimally invasive, image-guided vascular procedures in scrub, monitoring, and circulating roles Must demonstrate knowledge of fluoroscopy, CT, and ultrasound imaging equipment used in vascular procedures Surgical scrubs provided No more than 5 days of RTO will be approved for the duration of the contract Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position American Traveler Job ID #P-690906.
