Job Details Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Progressive Care Unit / Telemetry (Travel) Location: Barberton, Ohio (44203) - Ohio travel nurse / Ohio nursing jobs Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010 Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Travel Assignment) Hours per Week: 36 Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Unit: 2 East - 34-bed Cardiac PCU / Telemetry (stroke overflow) Employment Type: Travel Nurse / Contract RN Start Date: April 20, 2026 End Date: July 18, 2026 Job Requirements / Qualifications Minimum 2 years RN experience in PCU, Telemetry, or similar acute care setting (Registered Nurse experience) Active RN license (Nursys verification required); compact licenses accepted per state rules ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke certifications required Accredited nursing degree (ACEN or CCNE) Epic EMR experience within the past year (must be shown on resume) Willingness to float to other units as needed Maximum of 7 days requested time off (RTO) allowed; submit during application Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a cardiac PCU/Telemetry stroke overflow unit (Telemetry RN responsibilities) Monitor and manage cardiac drips, telemetry monitoring, and acute cardiac/neurologic changes Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams Float to other units as needed to support overall patient care and staffing needs Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Epic EMR (electronic medical record) Adhere to unit staffing ratios (typically 1:4, occasionally 1:5) and hospital policies Participate in unit competency exams, skills checklists, and mandatory training as required Why join our team: This travel nurse position offers competitive weekly pay, hands-on cardiac PCU/Telemetry experience, and the chance to be part of a supportive clinical team in Barberton, Ohio.
