Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab (Contract, 13 Weeks) Total Gross Pay: $2,531.00/week Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM-3:00 PM Department: Cardiovascular Services Start Date: ASAP Experience Required: 1 year Cath Lab Certifications: ACLS, BLS Position Type: Travel Contract Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Cardiac Cath Lab for a 13-week travel assignment. This role supports a high-performing cardiovascular team delivering invasive cardiac procedures in a fast-paced environment. This position requires strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care during cardiac catheterizations, PCI, peripheral vascular procedures, and device implantations (pacemakers/defibrillators). Support physicians and CV techs during invasive cardiovascular procedures. Maintain accurate documentation within the Meditech EMR system. Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergent cases. Ensure adherence to unit policies, safety standards, and best practices. Schedule & Call Requirements Shift: 6:30 AM-3:00 PM Call: Required Weekdays: 3:00 PM-6:30 AM Weekends: 48 hours on-call Duration: 13 weeks Unit Details Unit: NAMC Cardiac Cath Lab Beds: 8 Staffing: 4 RNs 3 Cardiovascular Technologists Total team: 10 Equipment: Cardiovascular invasive technology EMR: Meditech Permanent positions available: No Required Qualifications Candidates must have the following to be considered: Active RN license ACLS certification BLS certification Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience Preferred Qualifications RCIS certification Prior travel experience Strong procedural background Ideal Candidate Profile Collaborative, team-oriented mindset Strong communication and critical-thinking skills Comfortable working in a high-acuity procedural environment Dress Code Scrubs: Ceil blue Professional appearance required; non-compliant attire is not permitted.
