Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 02/23/2026 Duration: 14 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Tele Job Details: Patient ratio of 1:5-6 on days and nights, 1:6 on weekends in a 32-bed unit Travel experience required - first-time travelers not accepted Minimum 1 year of experience required Work with adult to geriatric patient population Required certifications: BLS, ACLS Must wear navy blue scrubs Float to like units within facility as needed Work every other weekend unless specified elsewhere Call is rare with 2-hour response time required Holiday work required based on assignment period Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed Must have experience with overflow IMCU patients, arrhythmia management, cardioversion Manage patients with cardiac CHF, chest pain, renal, pulmonary conditions, PE, DVT Handle cardiac arrhythmias including stable A-Fib, SVT, bradycardia Care for surgical patients including cholecystectomy, appendectomy, chest tubes, biliary drains Experience required with cardiac drips and hemodynamic monitoring Must know cardiac drip management: amiodarone, cardizem, dobutamine, dopamine, nitroglycerin, milrinone, heparin, argatroban, aggrastat, bumex, and lasix Care for post-cardiac catheterization patients with TR bands Use Epic charting system (preferred), Pyxis, and SBAR communication Full compliance required to start on time Facility: This healthcare facility operates a 32-bed telemetry unit specializing in cardiac and medical-surgical care. The facility provides comprehensive cardiac services including post-catheterization care, arrhythmia management, and hemodynamic monitoring. The unit serves as an overflow intermediate care unit with interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation services.
