Description Overseeing transportation, storage, and distribution of DoD material, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and contract requirements Managing routing, warehouse operations, and coordination with logistics partners while maintaining accurate records FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING #LI-TF1 Requirements Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or related discipline (ABET/CAE) or associate's degree with four years of experience or six year of experience Active DoD Top Secret clearance (or higher) Three or more productive years in transportation, storage, or distribution management (CSWF Journeyman) CSCP, CPL, or CPTM certification are preferred Desired Skills Knowledge of DoD transportation regulations (DOT, DFARS, ITAR) Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and transportationmanagement software (TMS) Ability to develop routing plans, optimize loadconsolidation, and manage carrier contracts Strong analytical skills for costanalysis and performance metrics (ontime delivery, damage rates) Excellent communication for coordination with vendors, military logistics officers, and contract administrators Clearance Information SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET LEVEL WITH TOP SECRET / SCI ELIGIBILITY Travel Requirements Domestic travel up to10% of the year (2weeks) International travel less than 5% of the year, only when required for overseas coordination and clearance approval About Us Scientific Research Corporation is an advanced information technology and engineering company that provides innovative products and services to government and private industry, as well as independent institutions.
