Shifts: 3 x 12s Timing: Day/Night rotation, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM/ 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Type of Facility: Short Term acute Care Hospital Location: 9500 Euclid Ave, Cleveland, OH - 44195 Length: The initial duration is 13 weeks, with the possibility of an extension based on facility needs and performance. Schedule: 2 weeks of nights shifts followed by 2 weeks of day shifts only if needed to support hospital operations. Can try to request blocked scheduling. Orientation: February 13th Note: The facility makes every effort to accommodate traveller's preferred shifts and will only implement rotation when operationally necessary. Job Description: Nursing Float Pool Provide leadership in coordinating and delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care. Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide, delegate, supervise, and document patient care and teaching. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Maintain patient safety, provide patient education, and ensure compliance with hospital protocols. Participate in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensure implementation of those solutions. Note: ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment will be completed during orientation, with a required passing score of 80%, and a second attempt will be provided if the first attempt is unsuccessful. Failing in both attempts will lead to contract termination immediately. Requirements: Active RN license in the state of Ohio or Compact/Multistate License. 18 months of recent experience in specialty applying. Must have 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty you are applying for before taking travel assignments. Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS and NIHSS Patient Ratios: 1 : 6
