An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with expertise in Interventional Radiology to provide skilled procedural care. Schedule: 4-day workweek Variable Monday through Friday shifts Hours: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM Key Responsibilities: Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care in the interventional radiology suite Perform and assist with procedures requiring fluoroscopy guidance while wearing lead protective apparel Manage patient pain and procedural needs effectively during interventions Monitor patient status, provide pre- and post-procedure care, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes Maintain compliance with safety protocols and radiation protection standards Qualifications and Experience: Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with current credentials Demonstrated experience in interventional radiology or procedural nursing Proficient in working within fluoroscopy environments and adhering to radiation safety Ability to manage patient pain and provide specialized care during invasive procedures Strong communication and critical thinking skills This contract position offers a unique chance to utilize specialized skills in a supportive clinical environment with a favorable 4-day workweek and variable scheduling that promotes work-life balance.
