Salary: $3,525.17 - $3,725.17 /wk Are you ready to take your expertise as a cardiovascular technologist to new heights? Join our team as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a team that values your expertise while enjoying the surroundings of Vail, CO. Assist physicians and cath lab personnel in conducting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and operate advanced medical equipment to capture crucial images and data of the heart and blood vessels. What You'll Need: ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist. Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred. Minimum 2 years' experience in a Cath Lab hospital setting. BLS and ACLS Certification (American Heart Association preferred). State licensure as required for Colorado. Experience providing technical assistance during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac catheterization procedures, including preparation of room and equipment, patient instruction, monitoring during procedures, and emergency interventions. Ability to provide on-call coverage when assigned to ensure timely patient care interventions. Client note: Must be able to function with minimal supervision and provide routine and emergency patient care during procedures. Preferred: Prior experience with imaging equipment and hemodynamic monitoring systems used in cath labs. Assignment Details Facility Type: Hospital. Primary Specialty: Cath Lab Tech. Shift Name: Days. Schedule: 4x10. Start: 4/27-5/11 (start window). Assignment length: 13 weeks. Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week. On-call responsibility: Tech is accountable for providing 24-hour coverage when on call to ensure timely patient care interventions. Location Highlights Vail, CO offers a mountain resort lifestyle with world-class outdoor recreation and a compact downtown village. The town is adjacent to White River National Forest and within 40 miles of Gore Range and numerous alpine trails, providing hiking and mountain biking options year-round. Vail Village and Lionshead Village are pedestrian-friendly districts featuring restaurants, retail, and cultural events within a short commute from the hospital. Vail is approximately 100 miles west of Denver, accessible via I-70 for regional travel, and Eagle County Regional Airport is about 30 miles away for commercial flights. The area fits an active, outdoor-focused lifestyle with alpine skiing at Vail Ski Resort, river rafting options on the Eagle River, and frequent festivals and live performances in the village core.
