Key Responsibilities: Deliver episodic care and injury treatment in an urgent care setting. Manage a wide range of patient ages, including adolescents, children, adults, and geriatrics. Collaborate with a supervising physician, who is available via phone, to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Document patient encounters accurately within the Anthem EMR system. Perform procedures related to episodic injury care as necessary. Required Skills: Active Nurse Practitioner license in Virginia. Proven experience in Urgent Care and Occupational Health settings. Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to manage diverse patient cases. Excellent communication and patient management skills. Ability to work independently with supervision available as needed. Nice to Have Skills: Experience with Anthem EMR. Background in handling a broad spectrum of injuries and episodic care. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Education and Experience: Master's degree or higher in Nursing (NP certification). Minimum of 2 years' experience in Urgent Care or related outpatient settings. Other Requirements: Ongoing coverage starting from March 19, 2026. Competency in documentation and adherence to privacy standards. Mileage reimbursement for local travel at IRS standard rates (if applicable).
