Job Description: Safal Partners is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a large federal workforce development project. The Project Manager will oversee multiple and/or complex workstreams, manage key client relationships, ensure the delivery of high‑quality, timely project deliverables. This role requires strong project management expertise, the ability to supervise and develop staff, and ownership of client communication, strategic planning, and problem‑solving. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of project management experience, and excels in a fast‑paced consulting environment, and brings a proactive, solutions‑oriented leadership style. Duties and Responsibilities: Project Leadership Provides oversight and direction to a team of staff. Establishes schedules, meets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project (including budgets). Assists with deliverables, writing, editing, ensuring final products are proofread and meet certain content standards. Lead multiple workstreams or large, complex project components. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations. Oversees development of major deliverables, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with client expectations. Conducts analysis, evaluation, and implementation of projects/goals. Client Management Serve as a primary client contact for major workstreams or project components. Facilitate high-stakes meetings, presentations, and stakeholder engagements. Anticipate client needs and proactively identify solutions or enhancements. Supervise Analysts, Associates, and other project staff. Provide structured feedback, coaching, and performance input. Delegate tasks effectively and ensure staff are supported in meeting expectations. Business Development Lead sections of proposals, including technical writing, work plans, and staffing approaches. Interprets contracts and work requirements, ensures responsiveness, and achieves successful performance; may include subject matter and specific technical knowledge. Identify new opportunities within existing accounts. Support development of thought leadership content. Operational Excellence Monitor budgets, level of effort, and project risks. Prepares reports for senior management and client leadership regarding the status of projects. Ensure compliance with internal processes and quality standards. Support onboarding and training of new staff. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant project management experience (10+ years without a degree) Demonstrated experience leading project tasks or workstreams. Demonstrated experience managing workstreams and supervising staff. Strong project management, communication, and analytical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools. Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholder groups. Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting federal or state-funded projects. Experience developing proposals or leading BD efforts.
