We are seeking an Entry-Level Tooling Machinist who has foundational machining knowledge and wants to build a long-term career in mold and tooling fabrication while working alongside experienced machinists. Involved in projects from start to finish * Long-term stability with a growing manufacturer * 4 Day work week What You'll Do * Operate a surface grinder to sharpen steel punches and dies with guidance * Perform basic machining, drilling, and CNC operations under supervision * Assist with mold construction and completion using shop equipment such as drills, mills, saws, and lathes * Learn CNC setup and basic programming adjustments with support from experienced staff * Follow good manufacturing practices to ensure product quality and safety * Maintain clean, organized work areas in compliance with 5S standards * Care for machines, tools, and equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation * Work collaboratively with tooling, production, and engineering teams What You Bring * Knowledge of basic machining operations * Technical diploma, associate degree, or coursework in Machining, Tool & Die, or Machine Tool Technology preferred * Entry-level machining experience, internships, or shop training acceptable * Willingness to learn, follow direction, and grow technical skills * Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety * Team-oriented attitude and good communication skills BENEFITS Comprehensive Benefits (after 90 days) * Low-cost medical insurance * Dental insurance - company pays 100% of the premium for single coverage * Vision insurance * Company-paid life insurance * Pre-tax flexible spending accounts Paid Time Off & Holidays * PTO begins accruing on Day 1 (80 hours in the first year; increases with tenure) * 72 hours of paid holidays annually * Night-shift PTO bonus (where applicable) Retirement & Financial Benefits * 401(k) plan with immediate eligibility * Employer match after one year * Historical annual profit-sharing contributions Safety & Work Equipment * $400.00 Annual safety shoe reimbursement * Company-provided prescription safety glasses * Clean, organized shop with strong safety culture
