Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - CVORLocation: Dallas, TX Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift (Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM) Schedule: 8-hour shifts with call and holiday requirements Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurse to support complex surgical procedures in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in open heart and endovascular surgeries and be comfortable working in a Level I Trauma Center setting. Key Responsibilities:Surgical Support Assist in open heart and endovascular surgical procedures Maintain sterile field and ensure adherence to surgical protocols Prepare and manage surgical instruments and equipment Patient Care Provide pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care Monitor patient status and respond to changes during procedures Ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes throughout the surgical process Specialized Equipment & Procedures Work with advanced cardiac support devices including: IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump) Impella devices ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation) Support both traditional and hybrid OR procedures Collaboration Work closely with cardiothoracic and vascular surgical teams Coordinate with anesthesia, surgical techs, and support staff Communicate effectively to ensure efficient surgical workflow Requirements:Experience Minimum 2+ years of CVOR experience required Strong experience in open heart and endovascular procedures Certifications Active RN License BLS required ACLS preferred Skills Experience in high-acuity surgical environments Proficiency with advanced cardiac surgical equipment Strong critical thinking and communication skills For more details reach at About Navitas Healthcare, LLC: It is a certified WBENC and one of the fastest-growing healthcare staffing firms in the US providing Medical, Clinical and Non-Clinical services to numerous hospitals.
