Finishing Machine Operator - Day Shift

Job Full Description A client of ours is looking to add a Finishing Machine Operator to their team. This is a great opportunity for hard-working individuals looking for a start in Machine Operating and Packaging! They will provide training as well; all entry-level people are WELCOMED! This is an evaluation for a hiring opportunity!Duties: Receive work assignments from the Press Supervisor or Team Lead and review job requirements to determine proper cores and rewind processes Review job documentation to confirm all finishing, packaging, and shipping instructions are clearly defined and followed Monitor product quality during processing and package finished materials accordingly Observe material movement through machines to identify issues with cutting, winding, or alignment Ensure finished products meet quality standards, including color accuracy, dimensions, die cuts, perforations, print quality, and correct quantities for shipment Support converting operations such as cutting, collating, wrapping, and packaging as needed Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation Change out or replace blades on inspection and production machines as required Accurately complete production paperwork and prepare finished goods for customer shipment Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with housekeeping standards Regularly lift and/or move materials weighing up to 70 pounds, with or without mechanical assistance Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSAs): Experience in machine operation or packaging Attention to detail Lifting, pushing, pulling, rolling up to 50lbs Ability to work in a repetitive environment Must have the ability to use basic computer software to pull production orders Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5:30 am to 2:00 pm Pay: $20.00 DOE Apply in 2 ways!
