DescriptionKey ResponsibilitiesLaundry OperationsWash, dry, and properly store custodial laundry, including:Cleaning ragsFlat mop padsMop headsFollow proper laundering procedures to ensure sanitation and quality.Inspect laundered items for cleanliness, wear, and damage; report any issues to the supervisor.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.Inventory & Supply PreparationMonitor inventory of custodial materials and notify supervisor when supplies are low.Prepare and organize supplies for the next day's custodial teams, including:Refilling and labeling cleaning chemicalsSorting cleaning rags by colorGathering mop heads and flat mop padsStocking trash bags and glovesAssist with maintaining accurate inventory counts and storage organization.RequirementsAbility to follow established cleaning and safety procedures.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to lift, carry, and move loads of laundry and supplies (typically 20-30 lbs).Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Prior laundry or custodial experience is helpful but not required.
