Current Opportunities - > Job Description Senior Banker - 84th & O St. (Full Time)Location: Lincoln, NECornhusker Bank has a full-time Senior Banker opportunity at our 83rd & O Street location in Lincoln, Nebraska. Hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 - 5:00 with rotating Saturday mornings.The Senior Banker provides a full range of banking services with emphasis on using needs assessment to help customers meet their financial goals by offering appropriate product and service solutions. Provides information to customers regarding Cornhusker Banks loan policy, reviews and processes consumer loan applications, and approves or denies loan requests. Creates and enhances long-term customer relationships with both new and existing customers.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:Complex Retail Banking transactions. Open, maintain and close all types of accounts which include checking, savings, certificates of deposit, IRAs, HSAs etc.Processes branch overdraft/NSF ListOriginates consumer loansPerforms exception item overrides for teller staffPerforms account maintenance: stop payments, account type changes, debit card disputes, etc.Maintain high product knowledge and cross-sell additional products/services through in-person customer meetings as well as phone and written correspondenceProfiles customer needs for mortgage, wealth management, insurance, and cash management servicesObtains, and remains current, commission as Nebraska Notary PublicAdherence to schedule in a structured work environmentADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Actively participate in promotional activities and training sessions conducted by the bank.Train, mentor and support new and existing Retail associates as neededPerform other reasonable duties as assigned by Customer Service Manager, Area Branch Manager or Division Head.REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:High school diploma or equivalent required.
