Some travel is required with additional compensation provided.Position RequirementsResponsibilities include but are not limited to:- Supervises crew in the erection and maintenance of cellular towers- Estimate bi-weekly manpower requirements needed to keep job on schedule- Supervision of crew and daily assignment of specific tasks to be completed- Set goals and motivate workers to achieve goals- Resolve worker problems on site when possible- Train workers in construction methods and operation of equipment- Maintain job log book, complete daily reports, attend weekly or bi-weekly job meeting- Attend monthly superintendent meetings- Prepare a rough draft of R.F.I's., change orders, and work orders for submission to office- Check shop drawings for accuracy and post addendums- Prepare progress schedules for submission to Project Manager- Establish a good line of communication with owners, architects, inspectors, L & I personnel, engineers and testing companies.- Coordinates activities of sub-contractors, prime contractors and vendors- Complete daily timesheets for employees- Order materials, equipment, tools and supplies- Recommend purchase or repair of equipment- Inspect all deliveries for accuracy and damages- Inspect work performed by sub-contractors- Ensure quality controlEqual Opportunity EmployerEEO / Vets / Disabled Employer
