Family Owned- 20 years in business operating in Texas & Louisiana The Systems Administrator assist the Help Desk and provides fast and useful technical assistance on Windows PCs, printers, mobile devices, and internal applications. The system administrator will answer queries on technical issues and provide a resolution, as well as asset provisioning. Responsibilities: Administer & monitor internal Windows Server Infrastructure. Server roles include Active Directory, Federation Services, DNS, DHCP, Print, File, Remote Desktop, and Network Policy Services Maintain hybrid Active Directory User & Computer accounts Administer Microsoft Office 365 Services including Exchange Online Administer & maintain multiple VMware vSphere servers Manage & maintain iSCSI storage environment Perform routine after-hours maintenance (updates, reboots) Assist with Helpdesk duties (Solarwinds Service Desk) Performing remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions Deploying PCs and Mobile Devices to new employees Perform resolution or walk the user through the problem-solving process Provide accurate information on IT assets Record events and problems and their resolution in logs Follow-up and update users with status information Identify and suggest improvements on procedures Recycle and/or deploy PCs/mobile devices to users via Intune & Autopilot Create, test, & maintain configuration / deployment profiles in Microsoft Intune Travel on-site to branch locations to deploy new hardware/software and troubleshoot IT issues, as well as train end-users and/or Help Desk personnel Assist in implementing new technology solutions when needed Purchase, deploy, & maintain mobile devices via Intune / Verizon portal/ABM/Apple Configurator Mentor Help Desk staff via best practice and technical knowledge Create and maintain policies, procedures, and knowledge base for the Help Desk Performs other duties as requested Embraces BLE core values: Make It Happen, Do the Right Thing, Work Hard, Smart and Safe, We Care, Be the Best and Own It Education & Experience: Bachelor/ Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline; Microsoft, Cisco and/or other IT certifications desired. Minimum of 2 years' experience in System Administrator or 5 years in a PC Support role; both in an Enterprise IT environment Familiar with enterprise concepts, practices, and procedures within this particular field.
