As an Animal Care Giver, you will spend your days tending to the animals under our care, including following guidelines for feeding, refilling water bowls, and offering treats and companionship. You will also be responsible for ensuring the environment is clean and safe for all the animals as well as walking or socializing animals as needed. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with all types of animals, can work on their feet for long periods of time, and can work well in a team environment.ResponsibilitiesFollow guidelines to feed all types of animals, ensuring the proper dietary guidelines are followedClean and maintain pet enclosures so that every animal under your care has a safe, healthy living environmentSocialize and exercise animals under your care as neededInteract with the animals, providing a positive human experienceMaintain proper records of all animals and care given throughout your shiftQualificationsMust be comfortable working with animals of all sizes and typesMust be comfortable working on your feet for long periods of timeFamiliarity with basic computer programsReliable smart phone with data planReliable transportation to and from client's homes
