Summary: The Scheduler is primarily responsible for scheduling nursing staff and other elements of staff support for licensed nurse, certified medication aides and certified nursing assistants. Job Title: Staff Development CoordinatorDepartment: NursingReports to: Director of NursingGeneral Purpose:Organizes, directs, and oversees the education and training of the facility staff in accordance withfacility policies and applicable state and federal regulations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develops and posts work schedules at least two weeks, normally four weeks in advance. Ensures timely Certified Nurse Aide (CNAs, SRNAs) and Nurse assignments to meet needs of new admissions as well as existing residents Maintains schedule on a daily basis of any staffing changes or resident status changes and communicates accordingly
