Electrical Assembler

Job Details Overview Performs highly skilled maintenance, installation, repair and troubleshooting work involved with electrical system. Electrical work may be performed in a number of areas of the carshell or train. Work involves technical application of electrical principles. Functions and responsibilities Installs, services and repairs lighting fixtures, electrical panels, outlets and wiring. Must have vast knowledge with electrical component plug assemblies. Installs, repairs and services specialized electrical equipment and machinery. Reads electrical circuit diagrams and blueprints. Transfers primary power from one power source to another. Installs conductors, splices cable, builds terminations and does necessary hookup for primary power source. May do other trades work incidental to electrical work. Capable of process improvement. Collaborate with management any issues that may arise with project. Training and Education Required High school diploma or graduation from a certified technical school. Qualifications and Requirements Two or more years of related experience. Safety Requirements Report all injuries and illnesses to their supervisor that occur at work, the day of the incident. Report any unsafe conditions that are identified in their respective work area to the supervisor. Comply with all client safety policies, procedures, and requirements that are communicated to them, including Job Safety Analysis (JSA) procedures. Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment that is communicated and supplied to them Keep their respective work area clean and orderly at all times. Attend all required training as soon as possible before the start of their assigned work.
