Microelectronics Assembler

Job Description We are seeking a Microelectronics Assembler to support a leading technology company in Chelmsford, MA. This is an exciting contract opportunity with potential for long-term employment. The ideal candidate has a strong attention to detail and an interest in hands-on work with electronic and microelectronic assemblies. In this role, you will play a key part in assembling and/or testing advanced electronic products and systems in a production environment. Job Details Location: Chelmsford, MA Employment Type: Full-Time, Contract Overtime: Possible What You'll Do ssemble electronic components, sub-assemblies, and finished products by following detailed work instructions and engineering drawings Use microscopes, measuring instruments, and electronic test equipment to meet quality requirements Read and interpret assembly process documentation and work instructions Work with components ranging from microscopic to large, often requiring visual magnification Use a variety of hand tools (tweezers, rulers, cutters) and pneumatic tools (torque drivers, screwdrivers) Maintain accurate production data entry and documentation Collaborate with team members to improve throughput and continuous improvement initiatives What We're Looking For Basic computer skills, including navigating digital systems for timekeeping, work instructions, and task confirmation Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment bility to follow written and verbal instructions Willingness and ability to learn J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610 standards Experience with electrical and/or microelectronics assembly preferred Knowledge of ESD procedures and electronic test equipment Strong work ethic with a reputation for punctuality, reliability, and continuous learning High school diploma or GED required Security Requirement Interim Secret Clearance required to start Supplier will initiate the interim clearance process at the offer stage Shift Options 2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM Day Shift: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
