Warehouse Supervisor Job Description This position reports to: Warehouse ManagerAlternate: Supply Chain & Operations Manager, Plant ManagerPOSITION SCOPEEagle Beverage & Accessory Products LLC is an SQF certified producer of beverage bases, concentrates, and plastic extrusion products dedicated to the highest levels of customer service, food safety, and security standards, with products reaching global markets including McDonald's, Starbucks, and Costco. The Warehouse Supervisor at K64 oversees all warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory management, production support for drinking straw and beverage flavor/topping production lines, and customer order fulfillment. This role is critical in maintaining GMP standards while ensuring operational excellence, quality, safety, and efficiency. The Warehouse Supervisor leads the warehouse team, coordinates inter-facility transfers to K59, and maintains 99% inventory accuracy.ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESReceiving and Storage Management: Receive and process returns, raw materials, and packaging suppliesPerform same-day receipt and physical put-away into designated storage bin locationsEnsure all items are systematically logged and stored according to facility standardsVerify receiving documentation matches physical quantities and specificationsProcess and document any discrepancies or damaged goods Production Support: Support and replenish materials for drinking straw production lineSupport and replenish materials for beverage flavor and topping production lineEnsure continuous material flow to prevent production delaysStore daily beverage production output in appropriate storage bin locationsCoordinate with Production Supervisors on material requirements and priorities Logistics Coordination: Prepare and schedule daily transportation for straw production transfers to Eagle's K59 locationCoordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely inter-facility transfersManage dock scheduling using OpenDock for inbound and outbound appointmentsEnsure proper documentation for all inter-facility movements Inventory Management: Maintain inventory accuracy of 99% financial accuracy through daily cycle countsEnsure inventory integrity by verifying all received, stored, and replenished items are properly labeled and identifiedConduct regular warehouse process audits to ensure staff comprehensionInvestigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptlyProcess inventory transactions accurately in NetSuite WMSEnsure proper stock rotation using FIFO principles Facility Organization and Maintenance: Maintain organized and clearly identified bin, kanban, and staging locationsEnsure floor locations, forklift drives, and recycle area boundaries are properly tapedReplace damaged floor markings and signage as neededMaintain SQF and GMP compliance in all warehouse areasEnsure cleanliness and organization of warehouse and dock areas Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and ship customer sales ordersAchieve and maintain 94% on-time shipping performanceMaintain less than 1% customer complaints due to fulfillment issuesEnsure order accuracy and quality standardsVerify shipments against customer orders before dispatch Team Leadership and Training: Supervise, train, and develop Material Handler team membersConduct and document daily meetings with warehouse staffEnsure all warehouse staff are properly trained for their respective positionsDocument all training activities and maintain training recordsConduct performance evaluations, coaching, and corrective actions as neededSchedule warehouse staff to ensure adequate coverage for all shiftsFoster a culture of continuous improvement and safety Safety and Compliance: Enforce warehouse safety policies and proceduresConduct safety inspections and address hazards promptlyEnsure compliance with food safety requirements and GMPs in storage areasReport safety incidents and near-misses immediatelyMaintain Food Defense/TACCP awareness and protocols Reporting and Analytics: Report daily, weekly, and monthly metrics to managementTrack and communicate achievements and challengesPrepare performance reports for management reviewIdentify opportunities for operational improvements PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSPhysical Demand Level: MEDIUM Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularlyAbility to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periodsAbility to operate forklift and pallet jack equipmentAbility to work in warehouse environment with varying temperatures SKILLS REQUIREDThis position requires the following skills: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferredMinimum 3-5 years of warehouse supervisory experienceExperience in food and beverage or consumer goods industry preferredKnowledge of SQF certification requirements and GMP practicesProficiency in warehouse management systems (NetSuite WMS preferred)Strong understanding of inventory management principlesExperience with cycle counting and inventory reconciliationProficient in Google Sheets/Excel and Microsoft OfficeForklift certification requiredProven ability to lead and motivate warehouse teamsExcellent organizational and time management skillsStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesEffective verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities TOOLS REQUIREDThe following tools and systems are required for this position: NetSuite ERP with WMS and Blend IntegrationOpenDock (Dock scheduling application)Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)Google Workspace (Sheets, Forms, Drive)Barcode scanners and label printersForklift, pallet jack, and material handling equipmentUpKeep (Maintenance tracking application)Zoom Software CERTIFICATIONS REQUIREDCore (Required): Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA required)GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) TrainingHACCP Awareness TrainingFood Defense/TACCP TrainingAllergen Awareness Training Recommended: OSHA 10 or 30-Hour General IndustryAPICS CLTD (Certified in Logistics, Transportation & Distribution)Warehouse Management Systems Training (NetSuite WMS specific)Temperature Control/Cold Chain ManagementISCC Plus Chain of Custody TrainingFirst Aid/CPR/AED Certification COMPLIANCE & TRAINING REQUIREMENTS Must complete and maintain current status on all required company training, including but not limited to: food safety (GMP, HACCP awareness), workplace safety, and annual cybersecurity awareness training.Must adhere to all company policies including information security, data privacy, and acceptable use of technology.Must immediately report any suspected security incidents, phishing attempts, or policy violations to the appropriate supervisor or IT personnel.Failure to complete required training or comply with security policies may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination. Additional Security Requirements:This position has access to operational systems, vendor communications, and/or compliance platforms. Incumbent must complete cybersecurity training upon hire and annually thereafter, with emphasis on recognizing phishing attempts in emails, attachments, and vendor communications. Must follow all protocols regarding removable media, external devices, and vendor email verification. Responsible for reporting any suspicious activity or system anomalies immediately.Incident Response:Must be familiar with company incident escalation procedures and emergency contacts. Responsible for ensuring direct reports complete required training and for reporting any suspected security incidents during assigned shifts, including after-hours and weekends.Note: Cell phones are to be used for work purposes only and must not be placed near production or storage areas.
