CWR-Lead, Warehouse Associate

Job Title: Warehouse Associate Company: Adecco Staffing Location: Richmond, VA Schedule: Varies (Days, Evenings, Nights, Weekends based on freight volume) Pay Rate: Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Job Description: Adecco Staffing is hiring motivated and dependable Warehouse Associates in Richmond, VA. In this role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring freight moves efficiently through the supply chain. You'll work alongside a top-caliber management team that understands the transportation industry and supports your success. What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like: Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks and checking in merchandise Match purchase orders to sales orders and distribute to team members for processing Read and interpret customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions Move, gather, distribute, and ship materials as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment Follow all safety policies and procedures to complete work safely Assemble products and assist with inventory counts Take check calls from drivers and ensure timely deliveries Validate load data before marking deliveries complete for accounting accuracy Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries, confirming on-time arrival and condition of freight What You'll Need to Excel: Basic written and verbal communication skills Basic computer proficiency Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask Critical thinking skills to follow written, verbal, or diagram-based instructions Preferred Qualifications: Previous warehouse or dock experience in the transportation industry Experience loading and unloading trailers Familiarity with handheld scanners Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 75 pounds Ability to safely load and unload trucks Why Work With Adecco?
