Dental Hygienist

Our Dental also offers career advancement opportunities for our hygienists. We're seeking to hire a full-time Dental Hygienist proficient and knowledgeable in periodontal and preventive practices. At Our Dental, hygienists have a minimum of 1 hour for routine patient care, Thu-Friday instruments, power scaling (piezo and/or cavitron) along with state of art dental office, and an amazing team environment. Commitment to our standard of care Responsibilities Include: Screening patients during checkups Reviewing patient's dental history Recommend care to improve a patient's oral health Teach patients about proper teeth cleaning techniques Identify conditions such as gingivitis or periodontitis Perform preventive dental care Apply fluoride treatments Take x-rays and reviewing them for signs of dental diseases Requirements: In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA) Outstanding communication skills A patient and friendly personality Stamina to meet the physical demands of the job Diploma in Dental Hygiene; advance training on instrumentation and/or bachelors degree a plus Valid license to practice
