Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be an essential part of the warehouse operations supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Material HandlerLocation: Warwick, RIPay Range $17-20Shift: 1stWhat's the Job? Perform shipping, receiving, storage, picking, checking, and loading duties following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Machine Operating Procedures (MOP). Maintain accurate records and inventory balances through necessary transactions. Operate various warehouse equipment including sit-down forklifts, stock pickers, and RF scanners. Perform safety checks on equipment and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Report unsafe conditions or potential hazards to the Team Leader or appropriate resource. What's Needed? Minimum 2 years of warehouse work experience preferred. Forklift and stock picker experience preferred. Computer knowledge including Excel, Word, Outlook, JD Edwards, and Internet. Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes, including UPS WorldShip, Fed-Ex, and LTL shipping procedures.
