ECS is seeking a Business Analyst to work in our Fairfax, VA office.ECS is seeking a Business Analyst to work in our Fairfax, VA office in a hybrid remote/on-site capacity supporting a U.S. Government Mission Partner on the Secure Unclassified Network (SUNet). SUNet is a Department of Defense (DoD) owned, contractor-managed platform that houses multiple U.S. Government Mission Partner Enclaves, each with a unique set of data, applications, and information systems /sub-systems that support the development of Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning (AI/ML) algorithms.The ideal candidate:Is a motivated, self-starter who enthusiastically tackles challenging operational problems and can quickly grasp and implement creative solutionsDemonstrates a solid understanding of project management fundamentals and frameworksIs highly adaptable, takes ownership of tasks and deadlines, and works effectively with limited supervisionHas prior exposure to DoD systems and demonstrates some technical knowledge and experienceOffers innovative ideas that solve programmatic, financial, and business operations challengesDuties may include, but are not limited to:Internal ECS and external client reportingBriefing and presentation developmentFormal meeting minutes recordation and disseminationRisk, issue, and action items management and trackingMaintenance Window ticket management and post-Maintenance Window reportingAccount management and user supportShort-term, high-priority project management support and coordinationAtlassian Jira ticket management and document repository maintenance and management in ConfluenceProject management assistance (e.g., drafting charters, requirements gathering and documentation, scheduling, tracking milestones, and peer-reviewing deliverables)Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) developmentMetrics / statistics capture and managementDaily operational support (as requested) to Team Lead and Project Managers, technical SMEs, and Leadership, as needed (e.g., Jira, Confluence, meeting scheduling and support, calendaring, agenda-setting, corporate back-office coordination, etc.)Other duties, as assignedUS Citizen.Bachelor's degree in Management; Business Administration; Finance/Accounting; or Information Systems Management or similar Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) discipline.2+ years of project administration and/or project support/project control and management experienceDoD 8140 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+CE); current, or obtained within 90 calendar days of hireExpert in Microsoft Office tools and O365, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and TeamsPrior experience on a team responsible for various aspects of project management (e.g., planning, requirements, financial management, documentation, client reporting, quality control, scheduling, etc.)Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with a proven ability to weigh the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and identify the most appropriate solutionHighly developed interpersonal and oral/written communication skills, with the ability to effectively and professionally interact with a diverse set of stakeholders (from peers to end-users to executive management)
