Summary: We are hiring a BIM Design Technician to join our Water/Wastewater team! This person will support designers and engineers on projects of increasing complexity, while completing detailed drawings in a collaborative environment using computer-aided design programs with a focus on Wastewater Treatment Plants/Facilities. Essential Duties: * Produce complete construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit, including plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules, and renderings; familiarity with Wastewater Treatment Plant and Process Facility design is a plus. * Independently manage and prioritize complex workloads to meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. * Analyze and resolve design challenges in non-standardized situations, applying sound technical judgment. * Serve as a subject matter expert in AutoCAD and Revit, promoting best practices, driving process improvements, and training junior technicians as needed. * Contribute to the development and implementation of company CAD/BIM standards. * Maintain organized BIM file management and demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint) and Bluebeam. Qualifications: * Associate degree in Drafting and Design Technology or Architectural, Structural, or MEP Engineering Design, or equivalent two-year combination of education and experience. * Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, BIM 360, and Autodesk Construction Cloud; working knowledge of NCS standards. * Ability to interpret technical documents including blueprints, sketches, building codes, safety rules, O&M manuals, and procedural instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships in both in-person and virtual environments. * Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and adapt to a variety of working styles and situations. * Proficiency in Microsoft Teams and/or Zoom. * Autodesk AutoCAD and/or Revit certification preferred but not required.
