Your Role As a Mechatronics Technician, you will be a key hands-on contributor responsible for assembling, installing, testing, and troubleshooting advanced laser machines. You will work closely with engineering and production teams to bring complex mechatronic systems to life. Your work will directly impact the quality, performance, and reliability of our machines. Key Responsibilities Assembly & IntegrationAssemble mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and mechatronic componentsInstall motors, drives, sensors, cable routing, and automation modulesIntegrate laser sources, optics, motion systems, and control units Testing & CommissioningPerform functional testing of machines and subsystemsSupport machine commissioning and startupIdentify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues Troubleshooting & MaintenanceDiagnose mechanical, electrical, and automation problemsRepair and replace defective componentsSupport continuous improvement and system optimization Production SupportCollaborate with engineering to improve assembly processesSupport prototype builds and new product developmentEnsure high quality and reliability standards Required QualificationsTechnical degree or vocational training in:Mechatronics Technician (Mechatronic)Industrial TechnicianElectrical or Mechanical Technician or equivalent experienceHands-on experience in:Mechanical and electrical assemblyReading technical drawings and schematicsUsing hand tools and measuring equipment Preferred Qualifications Experience with one or more of the following:Industrial laser machinesAutomation systemsServo motors and motion systemsCNC machinesPLC systemsRobotics or industrial automation What We OfferCompetitive salaryStartup growth opportunitiesModern and innovative work environmentWork on cutting-edge laser technologyHigh level of responsibility and ownershipCareer growth into senior technician, engineering, or leadership roles TRUMPF Inc. endeavors to make TRUMPF careers pages accessible to any and all users.
