Assembler Vacuum & Gas Mass Flow Instruments Pay: $17/hour Location: Hampton, VA Industry: Advanced Instrumentation & Manufacturing Join a respected leader in vacuum and gas mass flow technology, producing high-quality gauges, sensors, controllers, and precision instrumentation. As part of our fast-growing team, you'll contribute to the assembly, testing, and calibration of products used across multiple industries worldwide. Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembler to support the production of our thermocouple gauge tubes, advanced vacuum sensors, and mass flow instruments. This hands-on role involves electrical and mechanical assembly, troubleshooting, and quality control within a clean, bench-style manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Assemble, set up, test, and calibrate flow instruments. Support testers and customer service teams by troubleshooting product issues. Determine product configuration using customer orders and production documentation. Identify and address quality issues, initiating corrective actions when necessary. Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and calibration. Operate test equipment including voltmeters, ohmmeters, and current meters. Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings. Solder and unsolder electronic components. Use basic hand tools and small power tools for assembly tasks. Inspect, test, and clean finished instruments prior to shipment. Maintain workstations, test fixtures, and related equipment. Demonstrate reliable attendance and adherence to production schedules. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
