Set up Machine Operator- Manufacturing 1 team member-Heading/Rolling Machine Operator -Heat Treatment, Barrell Zinc, and Dip Spin operator Shipping Team Member, Conveyance Team MemberLocation: Greenfield, Indiana Shift: All training takes place on 1st shift, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday-Friday. Once you are done training, you can pick between the 2nd shift or the 3rd Shift. Our 2nd shift is 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Monday-Friday) and the 3rd shift is 10:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Pay: $21.00 per hour for 1st shift, $22.00 per hour for 2nd shift, $23.00 per hour for 3rd shift This is your opportunity to: Grow your skills in a fast-paced, team-driven environment Be recognized for your contributions Build a long-term career with real advancement opportunities Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities: Essential functions may include, but are not limited to: Perform routine set-up and changeover of machines, adjusting as needed to process operations accordingly. Run orders per product specifications and standard practices. This may include sorting, labeling, and packaging products per customer specifications, quality requirements, and standard practices Perform tests and check products routinely for multiple characteristics using standard measuring tools, calipers, micrometers etc. Understand and implement quality standards and procedures Meet production schedules and program production sequences for optimal productivity. Follow standard operating procedures and specifications or instructions of higher-level technical personnel and monitor meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications. Maintain production records and logs of equipment and product performance. Maintain work area with necessary supplies to complete processes- 4S+ standard work Operate heavy equipment necessary to move, load, and ship material and/or finished products throughout the manufacturing environment. Support inventory accuracy by completing cycle counts and correct discrepancies to achieve business goals. Assist and support other team members in meeting department and site goals. Contribute and participate in team decision making processes including problem solving and continuous improvement efforts. Provide support in project work and other special requests. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner Other duties maybe assigned What you will need: Six months of related experience and or training, one-year certificate from a college or technical school, or equivalent combination of education and experience. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
