Job Description

Our client in Colorado is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Dentist for a 60-day assignment starting May 18, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive dental care to patients aged 0-18, including those with special needs, with an average of 60 patients per day. The schedule is 7a - 5p, focusing on two treatment rooms and four hygiene rooms, with one OR day per week for sedation cases using Nitrous Oxide, office-based general anesthesia, and hospital sedation.Responsibilities and DutiesProvide comprehensive dental care for pediatric patients aged 0-18, including those with special needs.Manage a daily patient load averaging 60 individuals.Perform a wide range of procedures including hygiene, fillings, extractions, cleanings, stainless steel crowns, space maintainers, pulpotomies, pulpectomies, X-rays, fluoride treatments, and sealants.Administer Nitrous Oxide, office-based general anesthesia, and hospital sedation (general anesthesia).Handle complex sedation cases, including onsite IV sedation with an anesthesiologist.Work within a clinical setting utilizing 2 treatment rooms and 4 hygiene rooms.Participate in 1 operating room day per week.Adhere to a shift schedule of 7a - 5p.Additional InformationBoard Certification in Pediatric Dentistry is required.EMR system used is Dentrix.BenefitsStrong compensationTravel-related expenses coveredA-rated medical malpractice insurance providedDedicated recruiter for future travel opportunitiesWhat are Locum Tenens Jobs?Locum tenens jobs, sometimes referred to as travel assignments, are contract positions that help meet patient care needs at various healthcare facilities and hospitals for a defined period.
