Required Skills: Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a sterile processing environment, preferably in an OSU or similar trauma settingProficiency in decontamination, assembly, sterilization (sterrad and steam), and sterilized storage of instrumentsExperience with HLD (High-Level Disinfection) and scope processingFamiliarity with Censitrac tracking system or similar instrument management softwareKnowledge of OR liaison roles and proceduresCertification: CBSPD or CRCST through HSPA (formerly IAHCSMM)Ability to effectively float between departments and locations as neededStrong attention to detail, organization skills, and adherence to safety protocolsNice to Have Skills: Experience with DaVinci surgical systems and delicate scopesAdditional certifications or training in infection control or healthcare safetyPrior experience in a high-volume trauma or Level One hospitalPreferred Education and Experience: Certification by CBSPD or CRCST3+ years of processing experience in comparable healthcare facilities, particularly trauma centers or hospitals with high surgical volumeFamiliarity with tracking and documentation systems like CensitracOther Requirements: Availability to work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional scheduled holidaysWillingness to float to other hospital locations if requiredValid licensure and certifications in sterile processingAbility to lift, bend, and stand for extended periodsTake the next step in your healthcare career and apply now to join a dedicated team that values your expertise and commitment.
