Application InstructionsApply now!Position DescriptionThe Butz Family of Companies seeks an Accounts Payable Clerk at Alvin H Butz, Inc located in Allentown, Pennsylvania. This individual will be responsible for processing invoices which are received for payment and the payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.Responsibilities Completes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices and processed work Monitors discount opportunities, ensures credit is received for outstanding memos Understanding of compliance issues Void checks and issues stop-payments Reconciling monthly statements Report sales tax Position RequirementsQualifications include a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Previous accounts payable experience which includes: a solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principle, data entry skills along with a knack for numbers, proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
