You as the hose Assembly Technician will be responsible for assembling various components, parts, or products within a manufacturing or production environment. You would typically work with a variety of tools, machinery, and equipment to ensure the accurate and efficient assembly of items according to specifications. Responsibilities: Hose Assembly & Fabrication: Cut, prepare, and assemble hoses according to engineering drawings, specifications, and work orders. Adherence to Safety Standards: Follow safety protocols and guidelines when handling tools, equipment, and materials to ensure a safe working environment. Operate Machinery and Tools: Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery to perform assembly tasks efficiently and accurately. Quality Control: Inspect parts and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Report and address any defects or issues identified during the assembly process. Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on assembly tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning and prevent downtime. Collaboration: Coordinate with other team members, such as engineers, quality control personnel, or supervisors, to ensure smooth production processes. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of assembly procedures, issues encountered, and steps taken to rectify them for future reference. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Technical Aptitude: Understanding of mechanical and technical concepts related to assembly processes. Attention to Detail: Ability to focus on intricate tasks and ensure accuracy in assembly work. Problem-Solving: Capacity to identify issues during assembly and apply troubleshooting skills to resolve problems. Time Management: Efficiently manage time and prioritize tasks to meet production deadlines. Team Player: Capability to work collaboratively in a team-based manufacturing environment. Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects when required. Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication to report issues, follow instructions, and collaborate with team members effectively. High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or vocational training is a plus. Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or a related field is beneficial. Familiarity with assembly tools, machinery, and quality control processes. This position offers a salary range of (USD 36,244.00 - 49,036.00 Hourly). Final salary offers are determined by multiple factors, including education, experience, internal equity, geographic location, and the candidate's expertise, and therefore may vary from the range listed.
