This position provides status updates and answers questions for clients and coordinates with attorneys throughout the litigation and post-judgment stages. Essential Responsibilities: Acts as a liaison between clients and a national network of attorneysMaintains independent portfolio of casesCorresponds with clients and attorneys via phone, email, and online portals to provide case updates and gather informationReviews attorney and client information and provides feedbackGenerates and reviews reports to communicate with clients and attorneysConducts jurisdiction-specific research and educates coworkers on findings Reviews documentation (affidavits, complaints, settlement agreements, releases, waivers, etc.) for accuracy and makes or suggests revisions as necessaryReviews attorney invoicing and client billingMonitors the litigation and post-judgment processes to ensure efficient and effective outcomes Other duties as assigned Competencies: Strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to communicate and collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and attorneysAbility to manage a large caseload Organizational skills and ability to meet strict deadlinesNegotiation skillsProblem-solving, critical thinking and conflict management skillsAbility to multi-task & prioritize in a fast-paced environmentMeticulous Education, experience, certifications: Associate degree or paralegal certificate required. Bachelor's degree preferredFour or more years of experience in a professional legal setting Physical and mental demands: Frequent typing and use of keyboard/mouseProlonged sitting while viewing a computer monitorNear visual acuityAbility to present information clearly and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to management, clients, and other staff members Salary Description Hourly
