The salary range for this job posting is $35,037.00 - $56,059.00 annually + bonus + benefits. Pay Type: HourlyThe above represents the full salary range for this job requisition. The ideal candidate will have experience in either Workers' Compensation, Property & Casualty or a call center background.While we may prefer candidates who reside closer to our Columbus, Ohio office or Charleston, WV office that could work a hybrid or remote schedule, we will also consider candidates anywhere in our approved payroll states who can work full time remote.This position will report to the Intake Manager.Are you a Referral?If you know a current Encova Insurance associate and would like to apply as a referral, please encourage them to submit your referral information before you submit your application. Provide direct guidance and assistance to customers responding to inquiries, and/or explaining processing procedures to deliver the best possible outcome. Work is driven by multiple reporting channels such as customer portal, email, phones, and fax.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Receive initial claim information from customers telephonically, electronically, email, and/or faxProvide information to customers regarding the different options available for loss reporting Determine appropriate policy and coverage for lossWork with leadership team to onboard new associatesAnalyze information received on the claim and triage the facts to determine whether further information is needed and/or what action must be takenObtain and document facts of loss information in the computer system Respond to various requests from internal and external customers by telephone, email and/or by correspondence, including handling calls through the Engagement CenterInterpret coverage and issue claim decisions for claims assigned to the Engagement CenterReview, update, and document intake processes and procedures.OTHER FUNCTIONS: Other functions as neededKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Ability to provide excellent customer service to both external and internal customersAbility to work as a team member and perform based on established standards and expectationsAbility to multi-taskMust be detail-orientedExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to fully analyze information received and make decisions as to next steps and action requiredExperience with Microsoft ProductsAbility to work proficiently in multiple systemsExcellent organizational skillsHigh school diploma.One year previous full time experience in customer service and/or claims intake preferred.
