Job Description

Mechanical Assembler Assemble mechanical components, subassemblies, and full systems according to engineering drawings and build instructions. Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment to complete assemblies accurately and safely. Perform mechanical fit-ups, alignment, and adjustments to ensure proper operation of moving parts and mechanisms. Identify assembly issues, perform basic troubleshooting, and communicate findings to engineering for resolution. Conduct inspections and quality checks to verify tolerances, part integrity, and overall build accuracy. Maintain organized workstations, follow safety procedures, and document completed work within internal systems. Work Environment The work environment is a quiet production floor with ten technicians. It is clean, well-lit, and equipped with office spaces at the front. The team is very friendly, and the company plans to move to Franklin in September 2026. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Norwood, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
