Central Sterile Processing Assistant The Central Sterile Processing Assistant (CSPA) is an integral member of the Central Sterile Processing Department. Central Sterile Assistant will support the daily functions and workflow of the Central Sterile Processing Department to meet the operational needs of the department. The Central Sterile Assistant will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance of supplies, equipment, and case carts in accordance with established procedure. The CSPA will provide and maintain a safe, neat, and clean working environment; perform general operational duties as instructed to support the Central Sterile team to provide safe and quality trays to the Clinical Team and ultimately support optimal care for our patients. The CSPA will demonstrate basic understanding of the proper flow of products through central sterile processing including maintaining a clear separation of clean from the dirty areas. The CSPA will identify and resolves basic problems and refer them to the appropriate person when beyond scope of ability or authority. Required Skills: Ability to multi-task Self-motivated with proactive mindset Strong customer service orientation Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to continuously stand, walk, lift, pull, push, handle, and carry materials or equipment of moderate weight 20 - 50 lbs.
