Job#: 3028736 Job Description: Scrum Master/Agile Delivery Lead Job Responsibilities Collaborate with the Product Owner to support backlog refinement and ensure user stories are sprint-ready, with clear acceptance criteria and technical feasibility Define and maintain process policies and optimize workflow efficiency Establish and maintain sprint-level metrics dashboards to help the team self-monitor throughput, cycle time, and blockers Actively promote Scrum within the organization, working with other SMs/Agile Delivery Leads to increase effectiveness/ adoption of Scrum Actively manage risks and external dependencies, drawing in team members as appropriate Escalate material risks and delivery-impacting blockers using agreed communication channels to ensure visibility and resolution at the right level Create and maintain the appropriate channels for open communication within the team (e.g., tracker boards, JIRA) to create a trusting and safe team environment Facilitate team level events that drive value through collective decision-making, goal setting, planning and conflict resolution within the team Ensure team awareness of Value Stream/ART goals and align sprint planning and ceremonies to those broader objectives Coach and mentor team members to adopt Agile mindsets, embrace continuous improvement, and collaborate effectively across roles Competencies: Leadership: Strong leadership skills, excellent communication and organizational skills, and problem-solving skills Ability to drive and motivate the team towards achieving project goals and meeting delivery targets Strong problem-solving skills to overcome obstacles and ensure smooth progress Business Acumen: Experience delivering projects using Scrum/Kanban methodologies in the role of delivery manager Understanding of the Product's business objectives and the ability to align the team's efforts with those objectives Ability to identify delivery risks related to team capacity and escalate resourcing needs or constraints to team leadership or service managers Technical Acumen: Experience delivering technical projects, with experience in software development and/or project management Knowledge of software development process (e.g., XP, Kanban, Scrum, etc.) Knowledge and/or experience with: User Stories, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Paired Programming, Automated Testing Applicable knowledge of the technologies used by the team Solid understanding of the Product team's technical requirements and dependencies Proficient in Agile methodologies with demonstrated ability to apply them effectively to drive delivery and team performance Apex Systems is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
