Job Duties This Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will be assigned to work closely with the General ENT providers, supporting care for patients ranging from pediatrics through adulthood. The LPN will work hand in hand with providers in the clinic setting to gain hands-on experience and clinical knowledge specific to the ENT patient population. Through direct collaboration with providers, the LPN will develop a strong foundation in ENT workflows, allowing for effective patient triage, timely follow-up, and accurate patient education. This role is essential in supporting continuity of care, enhancing patient understanding of diagnoses and treatment plans, and improving overall clinic efficiency. This position is full-time, 40 hours weekly; dayshift- Monday through Friday, supporting work-life balance while maintaining consistent clinic coverage. 5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible LPN candidates. Provides direct clinical care as directed by provider. Assists provider in performance of minor surgical diagnostic procedures and ancillary diagnostic examinations as directed by provider to facilitate accurate diagnosis. Executes and documents ongoing patient communication, as directed by provider, prioritizes communication to the provider, responds to patient questions and requests to ensure efficient use of provider time and timely response to patients needs Administers medications and vaccines including intradermal and skin testing under the direction of a provider and per scope of practice. Cleans and sets up examination and treatment rooms between cases, ensures required levels of asepsis, availability of appropriate instruments and equipment, and preparation of patient. Accountable for satisfying all job specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures.
