Currently, we are seeking a Caregiver for an ABI (acquired brain injury) client in Springfield on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. Client has a pet cat. There is the possibility of added an additional 11 hours per week with this client. When they first arrive, they might do a safety check, help prepare meals, or pick out clothes for the day. You are a friend that plays games, runs errands, cleans up, and genuinely tries to make someone smile. - Our personal caregivers are going the next step and helping our seniors bathe, get dressed, and brush their hair & teeth. You help them stay safe with medication reminders and general mobility around the house. Some of our caregivers have certifications like CNA, HHA, or PCA, but those are not required. People who make great caregivers... If you have experience caring for a family member or have been a full-time parent or homemaker, you can be a great caregiver. If you worked in an assisted living facility, skilled nursing, senior home, or senior center as a caretaker, you are just who we need. If you have been a teacher, child care worker, or you're retired and want to give back, this could be perfect for you.
