Material Manager

ProLog seeks a Material Manager to support warehouse operations through the safe and effective operation of Material Handling Equipment (MHE). The Material Manager performs material movement, storage, inventory support, and distribution functions across all task areas requiring MHE use. This role supports receiving, storage, issuing, packaging, delivery, and inventory activities while maintaining accountability and adherence to established warehouse procedures. Responsibilities * Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including forklifts and pallet jacks, to move, stage, and store material * Perform material receipt, handling, and placement within warehouse locations * Support material issue, staging, and delivery preparation * Assist with physical inventory counts and reconciliation of discrepancies * Execute re-warehousing and material relocation actions * Support Care of Supplies in Storage (COSIS) and warehouse organization * Load and unload material from delivery vehicles * Follow safety procedures and conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections * Maintain compliance with OSHA requirements and site-specific safety policies * Record and support material tracking using Government systems Required Qualifications * Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must be able to successfully pass a background investigation required for the issuance of a Common Access Card (CAC) and to obtain and maintain a Public Trust designation. * High School Diploma or equivalent * Current and valid OSHA certification for forklift operation up to 15,000 lbs for Class I-V and VII equipment * Must provide copy of certification * Minimum of one (1) year of experience operating Material Handling Equipment in a warehouse environment * Minimum of five (5) years of warehouse experience performing materiel management functions, including: * Material receipt * Material issue * Care of Supplies in Storage (COSIS) * Discrepancy resolution during physical inventory Work Environment * Work is performed in a warehouse environment at NUWCDIVNPT, Newport, RI * Position requires routine lifting, material handling, and operation of MHE * Personnel must follow all safety and operational procedures while handling Government material Equal Employment Opportunity Statement: ProLog, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
